My client came to me with a badly worn out princess cut diamond prong set eternity ring. The prongs were so worn out that most of them were no longer holding the diamonds in place and the diamonds were falling out. The solution was to create a new ring that was strong enough to survive my clients active lifestyle and protect her diamonds, while not looking bulky.
We created a channel set mounting where the gold wasn't thick and wide while also protecting her wedding diamonds.
