In Ancient Greek mythology, Selene the moon goddess was crowned
with a crescent moon. Her name comes from selas, meaning light and brightness. Of all the moon’s phases, the waning crescent is my favorite: a quiet, gleaming sliver in the dark sky.
 
This final lunar phase symbolizes surrender, rest, and healing, a moment to pause before a new beginning. The Selene Crescent Moon Necklace is a gentle reminder to slow down and care for yourself, just as the moon retreats before starting anew.
 
Handcrafted with my signature seahorse texture, the crescent’s surface features valleys and peaks, dotted with three star-set diamonds for a touch of sparkle.
