Gemstone Key Cluster Charm Necklace
I love the idea that keys are the tool that unlock unknown worlds, whether it's a door, a treasure chest, or a metaphorical heart. Keys symbolize freedom. They open things up and lock precious things away.
This gemstone key charm necklace is handcrafted in sterling silver and features three varying sized small key charms, all handcrafted in my studio in New York. They feature three gemstones: Mali garnet (center), red spinel (right), and hessonite garnet (left). I chose these three gemstones to live harmoniously within this necklace for their equal gemmy color saturation and all hail from the beautiful and abundant continent of Africa.
The key charms hang on a sterling silver bead chain. Choose your lenth in the drop down box.
All made to order jewelry is non-refundable. In stock jewelry can be returned within 5 business days unworn and in the original packaging.
About the Gemstones
- Mali Garnet: Mali garnet is a yellowish green gemstone mined in Mali, the only locality where this gemstone is found. Fashioned as a pear shape, it produces a beautiful sparkle and scintillation. Mali garnets posess scintilating fire like a diamond.
- Red Spinel: Red spinel is from Tanzania, the only locality for this gemstone, and although small in size, 3 mm, it's vivid red color is mighty.
- Spessartite Garnet:The spessartite garnet, mined in Nigeria, has a gemmy spicey orange color and one of my favorite gemstones.
