Brocade Blue Venetian Glass Cameo & Gemstone Halo Necklace

One-of-a-kind and handcrafted in unique 18k green gold with a central blue Venetian glass cameo.  Victorian in inspiration, but modern in color, this convertible unique necklace takes cues from antique jewelry but is modernized by the use of bright colors like the blue glass cameo hailing from Venice, Italy.  Multi colored gemstones in varying colors and shapes are used for the surrounding gemstones, complimenting the bright blue glass but not overwhelming it.  The gemstones are purposefully set to make the piece look ancient with broad strokes of hammered gold on each bezel surface. 
 
As seen on Grammy nominated songwriter, Priya Darshini, for her perfomance at New York City's Winery , the cameo necklace is perfect for an evening out, event, or dressed down in a collared shirt and jeans, the colors are truly magnificent and the gemstone sparkle is mesmerizing.  
 
The cameo is surrounded by a halo of colored gemstones of tanzanite, aquamarine, green and pink tourmaline, yellow beryl, and colored garnets.
 
This statement piece can also be worn as a brooch converting it from necklace to pin.  The hidden bail on the back is subtle and smooth. The pendant hangs from thick navy twisted silk cord. The back of the pendant is solid gold allowing the venetian glass cameo to shine when light reflects off the gold through the glass.
